About the Doula - Lynn Christensen - Serving Northern New Jersey and Lower New York

My name is Lynn Christensen. I am a DONA-certified childbirth doula. I live in Bergen County, New Jersey and work with clients in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, and Essex counties of New Jersey, Rockland County (New York), and New York City.

I work with clients wherever they are birthing: hospital, childbirth center or home. Birth is a transformative and unforgettable time in the life of a family. The day of a child's birth is something that every parent remembers for the rest of their life. I bring compassion and strength to the birth place, and honor for your informed choices.

I have experience with Bradley, Birthing From Within, and Lamaze childbirth philosophies. I have worked with first-time parents, second- and third-time parents, VBAC parents, observant (frum) Jewish parents, women with special medical needs, women whose husbands were unable to attend their births, natural childbirthing women, women choosing epidurals, and women who experienced Caesarean birth.

I am the mother of two daughters.
