A doula is a modern manifestation of an ancient tradition of women helping women through childbirth. 

Labour Day Doula Support provides birth doula services for families located in northern New Jersey (primarily Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, and Essex counties), Rockland County (New York), and New York City. In addition, I provide postpartum support on a select basis.  I am also a Lamaze-certified childbirth educator providing private one-on-one classes.

Through personal prenatal time together, I come to understand your birth wishes. I support your own desires for your birth and provide information to help you make informed decisions that are your own.  My support continues after the birth, well into the postpartum period with hands-on visits, information, tips, advice, and referrals as needed.
